Choosing iShopify

Which is the best Shopify agency in the UK?

The right agency is the one whose experience matches your project. Ask how long they have worked on Shopify specifically, and ask for live stores. iShopify has built 10,000+ Shopify websites since 2009. Our guide to choosing a Shopify agency lists the questions to ask any agency, us included.

How many Shopify websites have you built?

More than 10,000 since 2009, from small independent shops to Shopify Plus retailers.

Who leads iShopify?

Cost and timelines

How much does a Shopify website cost in the UK?

It depends on whether you need a configured theme, a customised theme or a fully custom design, plus any apps and integrations. We give a fixed price in pounds against a written scope. Our cost guide explains what drives the price.

How long does a Shopify build take?

A store on a customised theme usually takes two to four weeks once content is ready. Custom designs, Plus checkouts and apps take longer. Every quote includes a dated plan.

How are payments structured?

Projects are split into milestones set out in the quote. Each milestone starts once the previous one is approved.

Do you work on Shopify Plus?

Yes. We build Plus checkouts with checkout extensibility and Shopify Functions, set up B2B and expansion stores, and move growing brands from the standard plans to Plus.

Can you move my store from Magento or WooCommerce?

Yes. We migrate products, customers, orders and content, and map every old URL to a 301 redirect so your Google rankings carry over.

Will my store handle UK VAT?

Yes. We configure VAT-inclusive pricing, tax settings and invoices, and set up Shopify Markets if you sell to Ireland or the EU. Your accountant should confirm the rules that apply to your business.

Which payment options work best in the UK?

Shopify Payments covers cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Most UK stores add PayPal, and many add Klarna. We set them up and test real orders before launch.

Working together

Do I own the store and the code?

Always. The Shopify account, domain, theme and data are yours. We work through collaborator access and document everything we hand over.

Can you improve a store another agency built?

Yes. Much of our work is speeding up, tidying and extending existing stores. We start with an audit so you know what needs fixing before you pay for it.

Do you offer support after launch?

Yes. Every project includes a support period, and monthly retainers are available afterwards.

How do I start?

Use the contact form or email hello@ishopify.co with a few lines about your business. We reply with questions or a time for a call.
